You know those days that are just so good they make your heart feel like it's gonna burst? Well, I recently had one of those when I got to hang out with one of the most adorable couples I've ever met for their engagement session. Seriously, these two are so sweet it's like they walked right out of a rom-com.
Our day kicked off at the Legion of Honor. If you're not familiar, it's a beautiful art museum here San Francisco with over 4,000 years' worth of art. It's got a timeless elegance that made for some dreamy photos. The couple in front of those grand columns and classic sculptures? Pure magic.
These two just seemed to fit right into the scene. Surrounded by timeless art, their modern love story shone through. The photos we shot there weren't just pictures, they were timeless pieces of art just like the ones in the museum.
After we wrapped up at the museum, we headed to this secret spot that's one of my top secret gems - a rooftop parking lot in downtown San Francisco. I know, a parking lot doesn't sound super romantic, but trust me, with the city skyline in the background, it's a photographer's dream.
As the sun started to set and the city lights came on, these two just lit up. They were all smiles and laughter, and their love was so radiant it made the city lights seem dim. It was like being on a movie set, except the romance wasn't scripted, it was real.
Honestly, it was such a blast to capture their love story. From the history-filled walls of the Legion of Honor to the twinkling lights of the city skyline, this day was one for the books.
I'm ridiculously excited to shoot their wedding. If it's anything like their engagement session, it's going to be one unforgettable day.
But until then, it's back to the daily grind for me – but with a whole lot more smiles thanks to these two lovebirds.
