FAQ
When do we get our photos?
My turnaround time for weddings is 6 weeks after the date of the wedding. However, I send sneak peeks of weddings within 72 hours of your big day because I know you’re dying to see them and I love making my clients happy. Portrait galleries are delivered 2 weeks from the date of the session.
Are there any couples you won’t shoot?
Nope. Love is love is love. I support all kinds of love and couples. I proudly shoot all people regardless of size, race, sexuality, disability, or gender expression.
We don't like posing and are both a little awkward.
That is perfectly fine! We will talk you through it and make you feel as comfortable as we can. Ill suggest a few poses to make sure you’re both looking and feeling confident, but then we will give you direction and let it naturally unfold from there. Forget about the camera and remember why you fell in love. I highly recommend booking an engagement shoot. This will give us a chance to get to know each other, and answer and questions/worries you may have.
Do we receive RAW images?
Short answer: No
Long answer: RAW files are my unfinished work and not something I give out to clients. To open and work on RAW files you also need specific software that often requires in-depth knowledge to get the desired results. If there’s ever something you’d like to see changed about your image, let me know and I will work to deliver exactly what you’re looking for!
Should we book a second shooter?
Having a second photographer allows for different perspectives, more photos, and a chance to capture twice the moments. I recommend a second photographer to most couples but it ultimately depends on your needs and what you want for your wedding.
What is included in the engagement session?
Your engagement session is our chance to REALLY get to know each other and for you two to practice being in front of a camera. The engagement session includes up to two hours of shooting, one location, up to two outfits, all edited photos, an online gallery, printing rights, and planning assistance.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! I offer payment plans with up to 5 payments including the 30% retainer. The due dates will vary but the full amount is due on the date of the wedding.
Do you have backup equipement?
Technology is fickle and I never shoot a wedding without a backup camera, SD cards, batteries, etc. to make sure your day is captured in it's entirety. Plus my main camera captures photographs on two memory cards.
